GREED Contribution & FC Point System

One of the core philosophies of Masters of Trade is community contribution.

The GREED Point System exists to reward members who actively help support the Free Company through:

  • Crafting
  • Gathering
  • Hosting events
  • Assisting members
  • Providing resources
  • Supporting FC projects
  • Participating in committees
  • Contributing to the overall community

This system allows members to earn points that can later be used for:

  • Rank progression
  • FC systems
  • Community recognition
  • Special requests
  • Participation rewards

The Orders System

One of the primary ways members contribute is through the Orders System.

Orders allow members to:

  • Request crafted items
  • Request gathered materials
  • Ask for assistance obtaining resources
  • Help other members fulfill requests

Be sure to check the pinned messages in that channel for current guidelines and procedures.

Important Contribution Note

Only contributions completed through official FC systems qualify for GREED Points.

While helping members outside the system is always appreciated and reflects positively on your community involvement, unofficial exchanges:

  • Are not regulated
  • Do not award contribution points
  • Will not count toward official turn-ins

However, friendliness and willingness to help others absolutely matter when leadership evaluates members for higher FC ranks.

Major Contribution Categories

Crafting Contributions

Gear Requests

Members can earn points by crafting gear sets for FC members.

Point values vary depending on:

  • Expansion
  • Item level
  • Whether both left and right sides are completed

Current Point Values

  • ARR Gear Set — 3 Points
  • Heavensward Gear Set — 5 Points
  • Stormblood Gear Set — 7 Points
  • Shadowbringers Gear Set — 10 Points
  • Endwalker Gear Set — 12 Points
  • Current Endgame Gear — 15 Points

Left-side and right-side sets are considered separate orders.

Additional points may also be awarded for supplying crafting materials.

Gathering Contributions

Gatherers play a critical role in supporting GREED’s crafting systems and FC operations.

Normal Gathering Nodes

Point Value

  • 300 Normal Gathering Materials (NQ) — 10 Points

Half and quarter orders may sometimes be accepted depending on current FC needs.

Unspoiled Nodes

Unspoiled materials are split into categories based on rarity and yield rates.

Point Values

  • 50 Rare Unspoiled Materials — 10 Points
  • 150 Triple-Yield Unspoiled Materials — 10 Points

Certain rare exceptions may have adjusted values depending on difficulty or availability.

Monster Drops

Overworld monster materials may also be turned in.

Point Value

  • 100 Monster Drops — 10 Points

Crafting Resources

Shards, Crystals & Clusters

These materials form the backbone of the FC crafting economy.

Point Values

  • 750 Shards — 10 Points
  • 500 Crystals — 10 Points
  • 200 Clusters — 10 Points

Shards may always be turned in without limit.

Event Hosting & Participation

GREED strongly encourages community-hosted events.

Members earn points for:

  • Hosting events
  • Participating in events
  • Organizing impromptu activities

Point Values

  • Event Host — 10 Points
  • Event Participant — 10 Points

Impromptu Events

Impromptu events qualify if:

  • 3 or more FC members participate
  • The activity lasts 45 minutes or longer

Treasure Map Contributions

Map donations help fuel GREED’s FC-hosted treasure map events.

Point Values

  • Dragonskin Maps — 4 Points
  • Gazelleskin Maps — 4 Points
  • Zonureskin Maps — 4 Points
  • Kumbhiraskin Maps — 4 Points
  • Ophiotauroskin Maps — 4 Points

Special weekly Map Gathering Jobs may provide bonus rewards.

Tomestone Contributions

The FC occasionally requests Tomestone-related materials.

Point Values

  • 500 Causality Tomestones — 10 Points
  • 1000 Poetics Tomestones — 10 Points

Requested items and current needs are announced through FC channels.

Grand Company Contributions

GREED also supports FC operations through Grand Company seal donations.

These help fund:

  • FC Buffs
  • Airships
  • Submarines
  • Ceruleum fuel
  • Housing items
  • Other FC infrastructure

Point Value

  • Every 15,000 GC Seals Spent — 10 Points

Crafting & Gathering Scrips

Point Values

  • 1000 White Scrips — 10 Points
  • 2000 Yellow Scrips — 10 Points

Gardening Materials

Point Values

  • Grade 3 Shroud Topsoil — 2 Points Each
  • Grade 3 Thanalan Topsoil — 2 Points Each

Airship & Submarine Materials

Point Value

  • 50 Dark Matter Clusters — 10 Points

These materials are constantly needed to maintain GREED’s workshop fleet.

Point Specials

At times, GREED may offer temporary bonus rewards for high-demand materials or urgent FC needs.

These specials may provide:

  • 2x points
  • 3x points
  • 4x points

How to Submit Contributions

To receive GREED Points:

  1. Complete the order or contribution
  2. Take screenshots of the delivery or trade
  3. Post proof in:
    #point-submissions
  4. Follow all pinned submission guidelines

Failure to follow submission procedures may result in points not being awarded.

Why the Point System Exists

The GREED Point System is not just about rewards.

It exists to:

  • Encourage community participation
  • Support FC projects and events
  • Keep resources flowing within the community
  • Reward active contributors
  • Help members become more involved
  • Create long-term community engagement

The system helps GREED remain active, self-sustaining, and community-driven.
