The Events Committee exists to help keep GREED active, social, and engaged through a wide variety of Free Company events and activities.

From mount farms and treasure maps to tutorials and casual hangouts, the committee works to create fun opportunities for members to interact, earn FC points, and enjoy Final Fantasy XIV together.

Committee Objectives

The Events Committee is responsible for:

  • Hosting daily FC events
  • Organizing activities that award FC points
  • Building stronger community connections within GREED
  • Helping members earn gil, mounts, rewards, and clears
  • Hosting educational/tutorial events covering various FFXIV systems and content
  • Maintaining a consistent and active weekly event schedule

What the Committee Does NOT Handle

Impromptu Events

Unscheduled or spontaneous events are handled independently by members and impromptu hosts.

These events:

  • Are not listed on the official weekly schedule
  • Are not directly managed by the Events Committee

Large-Scale Special Event Planning

Major FC-wide events and large special projects may involve:

  • Additional committees
  • Leadership coordination
  • Cross-committee planning

These projects may extend beyond normal Events Committee responsibilities.

Can I host an event that is not on the Bulletin Board?

Absolutely.

We encourage members to host their own impromptu events and activities.

We only ask that you:

  • Be mindful of the official schedule
  • Avoid conflicting with scheduled FC events when possible
  • Help ensure official events maintain enough attendance for successful runs

Can I schedule my Eternal Bonding Ceremony with the FC?

Absolutely!!

We love celebrating special moments with our members.

If you would like your ceremony added to the official schedule:

  • Please provide at least one week of notice
  • Try to avoid the weekly FC Meeting time
  • Contact the Newsletter Committee so they can help advertise the event as well

I have an event idea but cannot host it myself. Who should I contact?
